What it does

One app for the whole rental, start to finish.

Search, swipe, inspect and message, all in one place. Built for renters, private owners and agents across Sydney.

Search Sydney properly

Filter by suburb, postcode or train station, then narrow it down with rent, bedrooms, pets and parking.

Swipe instead of scrolling

Discover puts one home on screen at a time. Swipe right to save it, left to skip, and undo if you change your mind.

Facebook group sync

Public group posts are read and turned into structured listings, then queued for an admin. The author and a link to the original post are kept.

Six photos, no video

Up to six photos per listing, with the first one as the cover. The wizard counts them, sets the order, and picks up mistakes before publishing.

Music on an ad

An optional short soundtrack with a small play chip on the listing. It never autoplays and stops when you leave the page.

Share in a couple of taps

A share sheet for Facebook feed, the Landlords and Tenants Direct page, Marketplace, Instagram, WhatsApp and copy link, with the caption ready.

Agents can list too

Agents get an Agent badge and the same listing and enquiry tools. No subscription is needed to publish a listing.

Saved homes and inspections

Keep a shortlist, book a 15-minute inspection slot, and see every booking in your dashboard.

Messaging that keeps numbers private

Chat with the owner or agent inside the app. Your phone number stays private until you choose to share it.

Facebook group sync

Group posts, with a human check.

The Landlords and Tenants Direct Facebook group is where a lot of Sydney rentals get posted first. Rent Hub reads those public posts, turns them into structured listings, and asks an admin to approve each one before it appears in the app.

  • The parser reads rent, bedrooms, bathrooms and the suburb.
  • An admin approves, rejects, or re-parses each post in the web console.
  • Published posts keep the author name, the original link and a Synced label.
  • Incomplete posts are held rather than published at a wrong price.

How it works

Three steps, no middleman.

The whole process stays between you and the owner or agent. Rent Hub provides the marketplace and the messaging, not the lease.

  1. 01

    Search or swipe

Start with a suburb, postcode or train station, or open Discover and work through one home at a time.

  2. 02

    Message the owner

Ask about the bond, the lease length or the neighbours. Your phone number stays private in the chat.

  3. 03

    Book an inspection

Pick a 15-minute slot, meet at the property, and deal directly with the person renting it out.

Web console

Manage the whole rental from your laptop.

The web console is the landlord and agent side of Rent Hub, with the same listings and messages as the app.

  • A listings table with lease, renew and boost actions.
  • A three-step create wizard with six photos, reorder and cover.
  • Inspections and messages in one place.
  • An admin console for sync, moderation, KYC and reports.

Trust and safety

Built to be trusted, not just fast.

Rent Hub checks identities, moderates reports and keeps private details out of public listings.

Verified identities

Owners and agents who pass an identity check get a Verified badge. You can see who is behind a listing before you inspect.

Moderation and reports

Every listing has a report button. Reports go to an admin queue, and a listing can be removed when a report is upheld.

Privacy by default

Phone numbers stay private in chat. Read exactly what is collected and why in the privacy policy.

Fair Trading checks

Listings are scanned for discriminatory wording under New South Wales Fair Trading rules before they can be published. The terms set out the rules.
